Hello once again Gravy Quaffers, this is a very special edition of Gravy Times as we are a mere six days away from going on our VERY FIRST TOUR! We'll be headed down to Olympia, Portland, Sacramento, Caspar (near Mendocino) and San Francisco. While this is all well and good, we have a small favor to ask of you, our legion of loyal fans (or possibly people who drunkenly signed our email list): Please, TELL YOUR FUNK-DEPRIVED FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND FOES THAT WE ARE COMING! While our name pulls some water in Seattle, it doesn't pull shit in these other towns, so we'd appreciate any help in making our first tour a fun and successful one. Don't worry, your hard work spreading the good word won't be a one way transaction. We promise to repay you DOUBLE (in funk bucks) when we get back to Washington -- in September and October we'll be playing Bumbershoot, the Crocodile, Wild Buffalo (B-ham), the Kinetic Ball (PT), and a special Halloween show at the Tractor Tavern!

Happy New Year! In the spirit of the new decade we have new sauce in our gravy boat! The long awaited video for "Do What You Do", which a was collaboration with the Robotics Lab at Carnegie Mellon University, is now finished. Click here to give your eyes & ears a treat! Also, Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme are pleased to be releasing our first slab of vinyl on Sat, Jan 9 at the Tractor Tavern along with Black Cherry Crush and Olympic Sound Collective. It's a 45 rpm single called "Exceptional," a hot little motown flavored track that will fit nicely between Stevie Wonder and Temptations in your record collection. There will also be new threads available featuring the "Chucklehead" (drawn by Eldridge) and two-color screen printed posters of the show poster- all hand made by the Court Supreme.

Our next show in Seattle is October 3rd at Seattle Weekly's Reverb Fest! We're stoked to be participating in this big event with lots of other kick ass bands. EG will be hitting the stage of the Tractor Tavern at 9PM. We'll remind you later, but mark it on your calendars now.

Also, Eldridge and the Court will be descending on PORTLAND, OREGON for the first time on October 17th at Mt. Tabor Legacy Theater. Hello again. The Court Supreme have been having a wonderful Summer and hope you have been, too. We finished recording a few songs and will keep you appraised of when our first 45 is ready to go on your turntable. Also, if you don't have a turntable, now would be a good time to get one.

We've got a show we're really excited about coming up in one week on Saturday, Aug 29 at Neumos. We're playing with Yogoman Burning Band (B-ham) and the unbelievably funky ORGONE (LA). We would love to see lots of you out there for our first time at this venue so they know what an Eldridge party is all about. Thanks to everyone who came out and made our CD Release Party so amazingly fun and successful -- we sold the place out and got so sweaty we may never smell fresh again! In case you weren't there, our CDs will soon be available at Sonic Boom in Ballard and Easy Street Records in Queen Anne. The future of Eldridge Gravy is quiet for the near future -- various trips and outings will keep us off the stage for the next month.
